What is your ministry background?
I was part of a church plant over 20 years ago as a volunteer while teaching 4th grade. After I volunteered for two years I gave up my teaching job and went into full time ministry. I was a Children’s Director for 5 years and then joined the Orange Staff over 15 years ago.
What is your favorite part of being an Orange Specialist?
When I first started in ministry, I felt so alone. I love coming alongside other leaders to let them know that there is someone here. I also love being able to equip leaders to do what only they can do.

What are your top 3 pet peeves?
when people interrupt others when their in the middle of talking, when people are looking at their phones when they are carrying on a conversation with someone, and when people talk super loud on their phones…huh, I guess they all have to do with talking…who knew?
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I love all sorts of DIY’s quilting, knitting, wood working, painting and vinyling (except I’m not sure that’s a word). Oh and also I can name all the presidents in order, I learned the song in 7th grade.

What do you want to make sure you do before you die?
Have Grandkids…I hear they are the reward for having kids and right now I have two teenagers, need I say more!
What’s a goal you have for yourself that you want to accomplish in the next year?
To be healthy…as in no surgeries! I either laugh or cry!

Play with my puppy, Finley and drink coffee (a necessity in life)

Choose Joy, it really is a choice.
If you had $100 and the day to yourself, what would you do?
Go to Hobby Lobby and make something in my studio in my barn, it’s my happy place
