Orange Announces Staff Changes

Plano, TEXAS — As part of the ongoing transition under Amazing Life Foundation, Orange has made strategic staffing adjustments to position the organization for long-term sustainability and impact. These changes come after a thorough review of roles, responsibilities, and the evolving needs of the organization.

The recent merger between Orange and Amazing Life Foundation brought together two organizations with overlapping roles, systems, and processes. While every Orange team member was invited to join Amazing Life at the time of the merger, it became clear that some roles were duplicated and that the existing structure was unsustainable. As a result, some staff were let go in order to streamline operations and steward resources wisely. This was a difficult but necessary decision to ensure Orange is structured for future success.

“These transitions are never easy, and we are deeply grateful for the contributions of every team member who has been part of Orange’s journey,” said Chris Heaslip, CEO of Amazing Life Foundation. “As we move forward, our focus remains on equipping churches with best-in-class resources in the most effective and sustainable way possible.”

Interim President Mike Clear was one of the Orange staff members affected by the changes. “Mike has served Orange faithfully for years, and led the team through a difficult situation and rose to the occasion,” said Heaslip. Mike has long been a champion of Orange, having been involved with the organization for 23 years — first as a practitioner for 11 years, and as a staff member for 12 years.

This is the only staff reduction related to the merger. Moving forward, Orange is focused on building for the future—investing in the team, content, technology, and partnerships that will empower church leaders and families.

“We’re excited for what’s ahead,” said Heaslip. “Orange has always been about coming alongside churches to help them reach the next generation. That mission is stronger than ever, and we’re committed to creating resources that teach kids and students the Gospel for years to come.”

While this was a difficult but necessary decision, Orange is offering severance and other resources to help the affected staff through this season.

More details about Orange’s future will be shared at the 2025 Orange Conference. For additional information, please contact Ryan.Moore@AmazingLife.com.
