Something New is Coming: A New Chapter for XP3

Ministry is beautiful—and hard.

If you’re leading the next generation, you know what it’s like to wear a dozen hats, juggle weekly programming, pray for more volunteers, and wonder if the needle is moving at all. The Sundays just keep coming.

But here’s some encouragement:
A recent Barna study on the state of the Church in 2025 found that 66% of young people now say they’ve made a personal commitment to follow Jesus—and that it’s still important to them. That number has risen from 54% in just five years.

That’s not a small thing.

We believe that your faithfulness—week in and week out—plays a big role in that story. And we want to keep walking alongside you to reach this generation with a faith they can carry into adulthood.

Introducing a Brand-New Curriculum Experience

That’s why we’re thrilled to announce something new:

Starting January 2026, Orange Students will launch a brand-new XP3 curriculum experience.

The new curriculum will now offer brand new features like

  • Through-the-week content options for an everyday faith
  • Partnerships with trusted brands and personalities you love and recommend
  • Additional world-class video and media assets
  • Responsive content structure based on feedback and collaborations with today’s ministry leaders

We’re not just refreshing a product. We’re reimagining what curriculum can be—together.

What You Can Expect Between Now and Then

Big change doesn’t happen overnight, so here’s our plan:

From August to December 2025, you’ll begin to notice a few updates to your curriculum as we build a bridge from where we are to where we’re going. And don’t worry—we’ll resource you every step of the way with clear, Jesus-centered content.

We’re also doing deep, grant-funded research on today’s parents—Boomers, Millennials, and Gen Z—so we can help you better partner with families in your community.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s staying the same, what’s changing for now, (and what’s getting an upgrade) for the months of Aug – December:

What’s Staying the Same:

  • Weekly biblical teaching
  • Age-appropriate middle and high school content
  • Teaching scripts + presenter support
  • Small group guides designed to spark conversation
  • Worship playlists and daily YouVersion devotionals
  • Parent communication tools and ministry extras

What’s Changing:

  • Monthly curriculum drops instead of quarterly (starting August 2025)
  • A new “Practice” week in every month to help students reflect and apply what they’re learning
  • Streamlined documentation for easier implementation

Looking Ahead to 2026

January 2026 marks a new era for our student curriculum:

  • Video-driven content that elevates your teaching and makes Sunday unforgettable
  • Engaging faith tools for students throughout the week—not just on Sundays
  • Partnerships with trusted voices and brands your students and leaders will recognize
  • Volunteer training to help you build a thriving team
  • A worship song library with 100+ tracks, led by songwriters shaping the Church today
