What is your ministry background?
I’ve been working with children for nearly 20 years in both education and ministry. After teaching in both elementary and middle schools for ten years, I jumped into to full-time ministry in 2008. I led the preschool and children’s ministry at a large multi-site church in Metro Atlanta area. My roles included Preschool Ministry, Kid Ministry and Next Gen Ministry. In 2017, I started my next role as an Orange Specialist. Now I also get to be a first grade coach each week at my local church, and I love it!
What is your favorite part of being an Orange Specialist?
I love helping leaders strategize, cast big vision and recruit and retain volunteers who love owning the faith of their smallest church attendees…. preschoolers!

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Sleeping in a hammock on beach in Hawaii…so peaceful!
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be a pediatrician…I ended up working with kids anyway just in a slightly different, but just as important capacity.
Name three words that describe you.
Extroverted, FUN, Talkative…this might explain my poor conduct grades in school!
What do you want to do before you die?
I want to travel to every continent before I die…maybe not Antarctica…not a fan of the super cold. I just need to make it Asia and Australia.
If you had $100 and the day to yourself, what would you do?
Go to Target with a friend….I might actually do this already and often.
How do you want people to remember you?
Coffee drinking, PEEP loving, Confetti throwing, Joy spreading Mom, Wife, and Friend!
