What is your ministry background?
I started teaching in my home church’s mid-week girl’s program when was 19. I was hooked! Through the years and a few moves, I have served in children’s ministry as both a full-time staff member and as a volunteer leader for a church plant and a church re-start. I joined Orange as an OS in 2013.
What is your favorite part of being an Orange Specialist?
I love hearing the vision and dreams of my partners! It’s exciting to hear what God is doing in kid’s ministries around the country. Being able to help leaders customize their Orange resources to help accomplish those dreams is so much fun.

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
On the beach.
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A marine biologist – despite the fact that I couldn’t swim and was terrified of water.
How do you want people to remember you?
As an advocate for forgotten children and someone who laughed a lot.
What do you do with friends in your spare time?
Mostly drink coffee, but sometimes we hike.
What would be your personal motto?
I have borrowed a life quote from Mario Andretti, “If everything seems under control, you’re not going fast enough.” That pretty much sums it up.
