Camp KidJam is a new concept in children’s camp designed not only for rising 3rd – 6th graders, but for their leaders as well. As a component of the Orange strategy, developed by the reThink Group, Camp KidJam is designed around the principals of 252 Kids, which teach children to grow in wisdom, faith and friendship. Camp KidJam is designed to provide a fun experience for kids, unique leader training to develop adult leaders and to elevate the significance of Small Groups for children.
Jam Session are camp-wide gatherings that feature enthusiastic hosts, high-energy worship, compelling storytelling and an awesome drama. Experience crazy team cheers and game competitions, engage in incomparable worship led by some of the best worship leaders, and enjoy our cliff-hanging, fun dramas that reinforce the camp theme and tie into our Storyteller’s Bible story. These interactive, stellar productions are easily one of the highlights of camp!
Following each Jam Session, Small Groups create space for kids and leaders to grow in relationships and dive into the Bible stories shared in Jam Session. Leaders are provided with fun activities and discussion questions that help their group conceptualize the message and apply the bottom line to their lives. This impactful tool is a staple of Camp KidJam and is a springboard for campers to create bonds that last long after camp.
Leadership Training is a series of unique workshops for staff and volunteers led by an Orange expert. While the children attend tracks, leaders will enjoy this chance to recharge and be reminded of their influence, while engaging in discussion and having their toughest ministry questions answered. This experience is what makes Camp KidJam different – because we design camp for you as much as we design it for kids.
Tracks are fun filled activities that kids sign up for at Camp KidJam. Some of the amazing activities that they can participate in are dance, drama, sports and arts-n-crafts. Kids get to participate in one track for each camp. Please see the forms section of this page for a list of available tracks. These are filled on a first come first served basis so please try to enter your campers selections as soon as possible.

You must have one leader for every seven kids that you’ll be bringing (1:7). This means that for every seven boys, you’ll need a male leader and for every seven girls, a female leader. Each dorm room will accommodate two kids or two leaders per room (most rooms are dorm suites). We will NOT allow housing arrangements with one leader and one camper in a room, so please plan accordingly. And we will not allow boy campers to attend without a male leader or girl campers to attend without a female leader.
All new registrations and additions to existing groups made on or after February 1, 2021, will be charged the increased registration price.
The cost for leaders is the exact same as the cost for kids. They will attend all the same activites, except for Tracks/Color Wars. During that time, our staff and leaders will take the kids, while the leaders go to Leader Training.
Please give the parents of your students your cell phone number. This way they can get in touch with their children through you or someone that is with your church. Neither Camp KidJam nor the campus locations are responsible for getting parents
in touch with their children.
As you know already, it’s HOT in the summer. Please remind all parents of kids attending AND the adults attending with your group that everyone should dress modestly during camp. Shorts are definitely encouraged, but please be aware of the length. And please ask females (children and adults) to refrain from wearing spaghetti straps, halter tops or strapless shirts. Additionally, two-piece bathing suits and speedos will not be allowed at the pool. There will be no exceptions.
No, we do not allow parents to visit their kids while they’re at camp. This is for the
safety of the kids. If we have tons of parents visiting, it’s hard to know who is a parent and who is a potential stranger. We will not make any exceptions.
One of our CKJ staff members will be in touch with you very soon! In the meantime,
we encourage you to login to your camp account, click around and get familiar with
how everything works.
Click “LOGIN” on the upper right hand side of the web site. Enter your email and password. It’s just that easy! If you have any problems logging in to your account, please let us know!
We have drawstring backpacks, baseball caps, water bottles, CDs, T-shirts and more.
We also have resources for leaders, such as books and DVDs. We recommend that
campers bring no more than $30. And please make sure that their money is in a wallet or ziploc bag, with their name on it! Camp KidJam is not responsible for replacing lost spending money.
Absolutely! But, since the safety of our campers is our number one priority, we require that every person who visits camp has a host. They will answer all of your questions, show you around, introduce you to our staff and interns, show you all of the different Tracks and Color Wars. To schedule a visit, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our visitor spots do fill up, so if you want to schedule a visit, please let us know as soon as you can!
